On the observed PC house fire, approach the victim, press E at “Victim Carry”, walk outside, then press E at “Victim Put Down”. Check VICTIM RESCUED and the incident’s saved count. FIRE OUT alone does not complete the rescue.
The example is a cooperative call at 294 East Avenue, filmed by Ricoko and observed on 8 October 2026. The teammates’ fire suppression and the exterior driveway drop are part of the context. This is not our own in-game test, and no ambulance-loading requirement is shown.
1. Find the victim and expose the interaction
At 1:41–1:43, a victim is on the floor beside the living-room television. A green person icon and Help me / Please help bubbles make the target visible. Approach until E Victim Carry appears. If the prompt is missing, check distance and the current interaction target; we have not established a precise range or whether every room uses this layout.
Watch the observed action at 1:42.
2. Carry, then move toward the exterior
Press E at the carry prompt. At 1:44 the body HUD reads CARRYING VICTIM, the carry light is amber, and the interaction changes to E Put Down. Follow the open route through the doorway to the driveway. The victim remains counted as trapped while being carried outside at 1:52. Do not log a living rescue just because the carrying animation started.
Watch the observed action at 1:44.
3. Put the victim down outside
At 1:56 the player is outside beside the engines, still carrying and looking at E Victim Put Down. Pressing E is followed at 1:57 by the rescued notification and no active calls. The observed location works in this recording; an exact universal safe-zone radius, ambulance rule or boundary for every building is unknown.
Watch the observed action at 1:56.
4. Confirm the living rescue
The next state shows VICTIM RESCUED — Riko, 294 East Avenue, the Lifesaver popup and a report with 1/1 ALL SAVED. The incident is marked CODE 4. A separate Everyone Home popup is also visible, but that badge was not among the seven returned by the current official badge API; this site does not invent its availability or add it to the seven-goal planner.
Watch the observed action at 1:58.
Fire out, but a victim is still trapped
At 1:52–1:56, the call card reads FIRE OUT, 1 TRAPPED and dispatch says 1 VICTIM STILL TRAPPED. The player is already outside carrying the victim. The missing action is the observed exterior Put Down, followed by the rescued feedback. If your own victim is already released and the count remains unchanged, this footage does not establish the cause: recheck the call address and current in-game feedback rather than assuming a fixed drop-zone distance.
Credit and your progress
First check the report’s saved count, then add the living rescue to your own Shift Log and update Lifesaver / Guardian goals. “Victim lost” is not a living rescue. The VendoPlus house-fire report has 0/2, 2 LOST and NOT CREDITED, so it is a failure example, not evidence of a successful rescue method.
Remaining limits
The observed player uses the mask and an opened doorway. The guide does not establish solo timing, safe heat exposure, recovery rates, pickup on mobile/controller, revive mechanics, every map’s drop location or XP per rescue. See equipment prompts to prepare the observed PC tools.
